Degasser Repair Services Available :
We provide repair services for all
of the standalone and integrated Agilent, HP, Waters, Shimadzu and other popular models of HPLC degassers (e.g. G1322A,
G1379A, G1379B, G4225A, G1311B,
G1311C, G1312B, G1312C, G4204A and G4220A & B, Waters DG2, 2690,
2695, 2790, 2795, DGU-2010, DGU-20A3, DGU-20A5, DGU-20A3R, DGU-20A5R and others). These modules most commonly fail after four to five years of normal use. RED LED ON or flashing after warm-up usually means serious error and the system has failed. Liquid
existing the vacuum pump exhaust port always indicates a serious
failure requiring repair. FOr some models, a Yellow light
continuously on = failed to meet specification and will completely fail soon. In all
cases, the degasser is no longer working and is 'out-of-compliance'. It should be
repaired.
New degasser modules cost over $4,750
each so it is well worth having them repaired. A full cleaning plus replacement of the
most commonly found broken degassing module parts with new, refurbished or optionally
higher quality aftermarket parts to meet most budgets are offered. We can also customize
and upgrade the degassing module's performance using the latest technology utilizing
smaller volume vacuum chambers to reduce total delay volume, flushing and solvent
change-over times without decreasing vacuum degassing efficiency. The diagnosis, repair
and testing are all done in our shop by experienced professionals with over 25 years of
experience.

WATERS brand HPLC degasser modules can also be repaired (hardware fault,
degasser h/w fault) and we offer services for many of the models, including the
integrated degassers found in the Waters Alliance 2690, 2695, 2790, 2795, 1525, Acquity
UPLC and nano Acquity as well as the Waters Inline Degasser-AF. Replacement Waters vacuum
degasser pumps (e.g. 700001352), vacuum chambers (e.g. 700001218, 700001352, 700003753,
289000622) and vacuum tubing are also available at greatly reduced prices over Waters
retail prices.
Most SHIMADZU
brand degasser modules (e.g. DGU-20A3, DGU-20A5, DGU-20A3R, DGU-20A5R, DGU-14A...) can
also be diagnosed and repaired in our shop. A red
flashing error light may indicate that the system has failed and requires
repair. Liquid observed coming out of teh exhaus port is another common
sign of serious damage. Our fees are typically half the price charged
by others and we stock many of the factory parts used in these modules.
Fast turnaround of one to two days on most repairs.
When
you send your Agilent, HP, Waters, Thermo or Shimadzu brand HPLC
degassing module to Chiralizer Services, we will correctly determine
which parts of your degasser are defective and send you a formal
quotation to service and repair the module. We do charge a nominal
diagnostic fee to evaluate and test your degasser, but you retain
control over the decision to have it repaired or not. Sometimes a
cleaning or new vacuum tubing is all it needs. Please give us a call or
send us an email to discuss your needs and we can forward you a
diagnostic quote with shipping return instructions. Note: For the fastest response, please send us an email which
includes your full name, company name, full address, phone #, Degasser Model #, Degasser
Serial Number and problem observed.
